All Seasons Poncho

This was the first Fair Isle project I started--notice that it didn't get finished for a while! It was a WIP for seven months! It kind of became the project from hell. I really had to force myself to work on it. Especially toward the end. The poncho is knit from the top down, so the rounds just get longer and longer. The last 8 rows took me an hour each!! But, I stuck with it, and I am so happy with the finished product. It was a Christmas gift for my sister, who, as you can tell from the pictures, absolutely loved it!
