Pi Afghan Detail

This is the basic Pi Shawl (from Elizabeth Zimmermann's Knitter's Almanac). I used worsted weight yarn and size 8 and 9 needles to create a not-too-light but not-too-heavy throw. It could easily be worn as a shawl, though. I used Latvian Braid at the color changes. Measures about 54" in diameter

Yarn: Cascade 220 (red and green) and Ultra Alpaca (brown)
Colors: Deep Red, Sage Green, Mocha (2 balls each color)
Needles: Size 8 and 9
