I am a knitter, spinner, and designer as well as a wife, and mother to two small children. In 1998, I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing and a minor in English. Immediately after graduation, I took on the challenge of being a stay-at-home mom. In early 1999, in a quest to find a creative way to fill my time, I taught myself to knit. Six months later, I began designing my own garments. I have since designed dozens of projects for myself, friends and family, from sturdy Fair Isle jackets to delicate lace vests. In 2003, I decided to take those designs and work them into patterns for the hand knitting public. I hope you find them useful and enjoyable.
