Since I first picked up the needles in February 1999, I have learned so much about knitting as well as fiber arts in general. I'm constantly amazed at what can be created with knitted fabric, the ways it can be shaped, and how stitches can be manipulated. It's wonderful! But, by far, my favorite is lace knitting--at least for now. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?!

A quick note about the patterns I use: If you are interested in getting the pattern for something that I've designed myself, please let me know. I'm working on getting some of them written up into a printable, understandable format. I'm hoping to make some of them available soon.

On the other hand, please do not email me asking me to send you a copy of a pattern from a magazine, book, pattern leaflet, etc. I will not do it, so don't waste your time writing the email. I'm truly amazed and the number such requests that I receive. Please remember that when you photocopy a pattern to "share" with a friend, you are taking money out of the pocket of the designer/publisher/etc. When they don't make money, they stop making magazines, books, pattern leaflets. And that, my friends, is bad for all of us. So, if you are interested in knitting one of those projects, please buy the pattern, magazine, book, etc. I've done my best to list sources for these items.

Okay, I'm going to get off my soapbox now. :) Enjoy!
